A long way from Gotham City

A long way from Gotham City

I went to the Goodwood Revival this month; an event that gets more and more popular every year since its inception in 1998. I remember exhibiting there in its early years.

Everybody at the event follows the dress code of 1940s to 1960s and this, together with the organisers attention to detail, make the event unique-and that goes without the mention of the cars and air display, made more poignant this year with the 75th Anniversary.

Batman’s first appearance was in 1939, just outside of the designated period, but I don’t think that was of major concern to this particular participant.
