Brief interview with painter Chris Myers RBA RI at the Royal Society British Artists Candlelit Supper at the Mall Galleries, London. Chris had just won an award for his contributions to the RBA. From what I've seen of Chris's work, he works a lot with watercolour, is a strong colourist with an effective graphic/illustrative style who produces a wide range of paintings, in terms of subject matter. Those shown here are based on popular musicians such as John Lee Hooker and Amy Winehouse. We particularly like the piece with the broken record.Louise Giblin | www.louisegiblin.co.uk
